Trying to make a DVD with Encore trial version

I have an eight minute video which I've completed on Premiere 6.0. I want to burn a DVD with Encore DVD 2.0 trial version.
Is there a special way to save it? How do I export it so I can get it into Encore?
I thought I had done it correctly when I exported it as mpeg, but Encore won't let me do anything. I can't get past "first play not set" error and "title remote not set" error.
I don't know what this means. I'm not interested in chapters, buttons or any special "treatment," I just want to burn a DVD. I've read "help" but can solve my problem.
Can someone please help me with this issue? I'm considering buying Encore, but I need to know how to use it first. Thanks.
