Bryan CarvajalTransfering subtitles between projects?
by on May 9, 2005 at 3:09:14 am

After spending a very long time working on this problem I hit a snag on what would have been the final run before I finalized the master. Watching the disc space usage carefully during production, the end results would have put it about 3.5-4.0 gb of data on the dvd. Just as I was importing the last two files I needed, Encore refused to transcode them saying they were below the required 2mps. After that I checked the space again, now I was over 5.2gb on the dvd. Made some adjustments, deleted all unnessasary files and I was still over the limit and those files would not transcode. So I decided to start from scratch and rebuild all the files and retranscode everything again.

On two videos ranging in 2-3 mins in length, I manaully subtitled the segment and was wondering if I could copy and paste those subtitles over to the new rebuilt project file? every time I try to highlight and copy those subtitle lines in the timeline I get an OUT OF MEMORY error and a crash of the program. Suggestions?
