PDWF800 shooting at 30p

Hi,
I'm doing some post for an external company, and they are using the
Sony PDWF800 XD Cam. I've asked that we shoot at 30P, it was my understanding that this camera can shoot 30p? I've been told by someone there, and at Sony that it cannot shoot 30p my only choices are 1080 59.94i or 1080 23.98psf. Is anyone using this camera, and have you shot 30P? Any suggestions? The stuff is for 3D tracking, and I just prefer progressive footage?
Any thoughts?
