Jim WattLion not seeing XDCAM EX drives when camera pugged in

I just installed the latest Sony drivers on a new Macpro running Lion and cannot see the S X S cards/drives on the camera when I plug in the camera to the computer via usb. Also no indication from the camera that it is plugged in like in Snow Leopard.
