Thanks for all the valuable info,
and esp to Michael Palmer for your empirical approach.

My post regards CENTON SDHC class 6

I have 2 very new EX3's, but couldn't stomach Sony SxS price, so I acquired some Hoodman Kits w 16G SDHC.

After a lot of searching and comparison online, I found some SDHC 32G class 6 from Centon ($79 each purchased in-person at FRY's).

I've only used them twice, plus a couple of tests.
So far I've not experienced any actual problems using Centon 32 in Hoodman "sleeve".
I believe one time during testing, a blank SDHC required reformat,
(not certain if it was a Hoodman16 or the Centon32) possibly after deleting the files using MacPro (I'm doing my xfers using USB reader from Hoodman). So far I have been able to xfer the BPAV folder back and forth from the Mac to the camera and both Mac and Camera were able to read the files without issue. Spanned clips seem not a problem as long as both folders were ingested into LogAndCapture at same time.

So far my real footage is in 720/60p. Some testing in 1080/60i.
No experience yet on overcranking w the Centon32s, only the RAW16.

I haven't seen any posts on Centon SDHC -
- my COW search found nothing. Anyone else tried them?

I'm thinking that older firmware may be the main issue.
Perhaps newer units (esp ex3) are less prone to 3rd party SxS probs.
(Or maybe I've just been lucky so far.) Maybe Michael can tease this out.

FYI - Mine are
PMWEX3 serial(s): 0104314, 0104391
