Access Channel 3/4 via FireWire? (F70 deck)
by Billy Mabou on Mar 19, 2008 at 4:22:57 am

Hi, does anyone know if the PDW-F70 can be configured to play out audio channels 3 and 4 via FireWire? I'm trying to capture these 2 channels via Avid Xpress Pro (which is downsampling to DV25 via ieee) but I'm unable to select these channels or get the deck to play 3/4 out 1/2.

This could be an Xpress Pro limitation, but I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone knows if the deck is even capable of doing this.

Otherwise, I guess the only way to get this audio is via XLR?

Thanks a lot!
