I have got it into my G5 via SDI cable component - fcp 6.2,I had my inputs set at DVpro50 Info in the manual. You will have to use the AV cable for the sound. You will have to go into the menue to change the outpot. I'm waiting for my intel macpro to come in to get the hd quality.
