Does Sony offer a 12vdc portable deck that records 1080p?

We are researching an aerial shoot in June that involves the Cineflex gyro stablilzed helicopter mount with the Sony 1500 HD camera.

We have had a lot of experience with work flow using Panasonic gear at 720p but this Cineflex has the Sony 1500 camera.

We have the option to shoot 1080i or 1080p @ 30 or 60fps.
I am suggesting shooting at 1080p at 60fps and record to a portable deck inside the helicopter.

Question-Does Sony now offer a portable 12vdc HDcam deck capable of recording 1080P? Will it also do a down convert to SD after the shoot?
