Yeah, I'd say it's a big fat no. I'm still doing work with Combustion but I'm a dinosaur I guess. If it still works and you can handle it in Combustion do it there. It runs great for me under Windows 7. If not then perhaps you can render out elements with alpha and load those in to something else.
