Re: A new PC config

Dean,

I've looked at the NVIDIA website.
Let's forget, for the momment, how much I can spend right now (not much believe me)

I've looked for the top of the GeForce; the GTX295. Seems great.
The I've noticed the Quadro FX 5800 and the QuadroCX.

The FX5800 costs around 7x the GTX295.

Should I go for that?
Is it 7 times better? 3 times? twice better?

Seems that it will cost almost the same than an Matrox Axio.

A MATROX CompressHD will also accelerate H.264 file creation, for a fraction of the FX5800.

What's your opinion on this.

Carlos
