motion tracking a region?

I need to be able define a region within a frame (using an unlimited number of points) and then track that region through a scene. I need the program to create an alpha channel that will let me key that region as it moves through the scene.

Will Combustion do this for me? If not, does anyone know of a program that will accomplish this?
