render output settings (field order, etc...) for AVID xpress HD
by Su Yoon on Sep 8, 2008 at 7:16:46 am

Hello, I'm doing this motion graphic project in HD ratio, and it will be edited in Avid xpress HD later on. as far as I know, I need to render with upper field first for HD. but I wasn't sure, so I did both upper first & no fields for a test, and the editor said they both have vibrations when they played and I have no clue.

my composite output setting was
1920x1080
pixel aspect ratio: 1.00 square
frame rate: 30fps (I SUSPECT THIS IS WRONG? 29.97 IS WHAT I NEED?)
Fields: uppper first
bit depth: 8bit

render settings
Uncompressed Quicktime: animation codec
Quality: best
premultiply color on
Frame Size: Full 1920 1080
Fields: Upper First

It's always confusing to me... I'd really appreciate it if you guys give me any advise. Thank you!
