Nasty codec conflict with AVIs
by

Really nasty. If I try to open any file type into Combustion that is not an AVI, Combustion couldn't be happier. If I try to load any file that is an .avi Combustion crashes IMMEDIATELY!
I have G-spot and it shows a gazillion codecs and filters but I have know idea how to go about figuring which codec conflict is the problem. I also have a full install of CS3 on this system along with Sony Vegas, InterVideo, Roxio and Matrox Axio LE.
After Effects, Premiere Pro, Intervideo and Vegas will all load the AVIs with no problems.
This is toughie!
