Re: Combustion 3 & Vista 64 a no go?

So you are happy to spend thousands on a new PC but don't want to spend a couple of hundred on updating your software to work with it? That makes no sense to me and I don't think it is reasonable to expect any software companies to expend any effort making old versions work with new OSes. That said, Combustion2008 doesn't officially support Vista either, although it works a treat on my 32 bit Vista installation, so you might want to download the demo and check before buying an upgrade.

I also can't believe that anyone would choose to work on version 3 when there are so many great usability enhancements in v4 and C2008. I occasionally have to do some work in v2 [for compatibility with EDIT*] and it drives me nuts. Seriously, do yourself a big, big favour and upgrade.

I'm a contractor for Autodesk at the moment but, unless otherwise stated, all opinions expressed here are my own.
