particles only appear partially in renders
by Michael Hurwicz on Jun 23, 2007 at 12:15:56 am

Combustion 4, Windows 2000
File > New
Type: Particles , Format: HDTV
Create a circle emitter, burst chunks
Select emitter and change some emitter parameters (weight, velocity, preload frames)
Render

Particles only appear partially in the rendered output
For instance, in this example ...

http://www.greendept.com/c4

... the area in which particles appear is 270x230 in the 1920x1080 video frame, and part of the area that I would expect to be occupied by particles is actually transparent.

Anybody know what's going on here or how to get the whole particle system to render?

In another attempt, the particle portion rendered 1021x721 in the 1920x1080 frame, but the particles were still "chopped off".
