16- and 32 bit in Combustion 4
by Keith Hill on Jun 7, 2007 at 7:23:09 pm

I'm preparing to experiment/online a music video in Combustion 4 and will be trying out some of the theories/workflows described in Stu Maschwitz' new book The DV Rebel's Guide. Thing is, most of his comments are centered around After Effects though he admits that his suggestions can be done in other apps (e.g. Combustion, etc).

He describes how to be a 'pixel purist' by not onlining your material in your NLE to avoid recompressing your dv material. He suggests 16 or 32 bit as the color modes to operate from.

Anyone have any comments and/or suggestiong about operating in these modes in Combustion?
