well, all four sites of a quad building should have the same size (in traditional architecture ;-) )
just start with four (solid) layers and put them side-to-side in such a way that they form a box (with top and bottom open,though). that's it. you can play with the size of the layers and distance to camera , as well as focal length, to get the perspective you want.
