Importing MXF video from P2 card to Combustion

Hey! I was wondering if anyone out there has a good workflow for bringing MFX files into combustion with the least amount of quality loss. I use footage straight from my Panasonic P2 card without having to worry about editing so I don't need a real-time solution, I'm just concerned with maximum quality preservation for my 1080p footage.
The only intermediate I've used was Cineform's AspectHD CODEC and am not convinced this is the best solution. Have you used any software that will allow the MXF video to be treated as an AVI, QT, or other such combustion importable file without having to transcode?
