Yes, I agree too. With Combustion now Universal it only needs to keep pace with the desktop evolution toward off-loading more processing to the GPU. I also agree that Autodesk would do well to promote Combustion (in general). It doesn't seem like they're into marketing at all. Or, are they really afraid of it affecting their systems business. If that's the case, they need to get over it already. Desktop systems are going to get more powerful and more artists are going to enter the arena. They might as well give the best tools rather than everyone just following Apple.

Apple saw the handwriting on the wall and adjusted. I encourage Autodesk to take advantage of this and bring more of those advanced systems tools down to Combustion. I have a feeling that there will always be a need for systems in the industry especially as we see 4k images and workflows come about; not to mention, film's not going anywhere. The digital side is just stronger these days and is getting better.
