Personally, over the years, I have insulted Apple, Autodesk, Avid, et al, when needed and do not worry about advertiser support or which side my bread is buttered on. As long as I make more money than I spend, I am okay and don't much worry about offending sponsors who need offending.

On the other hand, I will stick up for things on principle just as easily...

I know MANY people in this industry and have yet to hear from anyone I know who is incredulous about this. Most, could care less and see it as business as usual.

You are free to think whatsoever you wish, Justin. You can think the world is on fire and that angry hordes are everywhere, waiting for their boxes of Shake to spontaneously combust* and destroy both individual creativity and Western Civilization, as we know it. Personally, to quote the Bard, I see it as much ado about nothing.

Still, I can't help but chuckle to notice that you didn't address ANY of my points. Nice "joust," eh? To be truthful, it's hard to have a joust when the other guy doesn't get in the ring but runs somewhere else to fight.
