yes, im aware of the dangers of the cropping thing, maybe i didn't make them very apparent.

now that i come to think of it, the only time i have actually animated the crop is when keying, where the coordinates aren't an issue.

i found, though, that animated crops aside, cropping for just paint tasks like de-rigging etc, no comps or animation, saved alot of time when making poor old combustion try to handle 4k (which admittedly i don't do very often.) if resetting the crop screws up your work you could always render it cropped and comp back on top - depends if you think it would save any time

i admit its risky territory but if you're up against the clock i think sometimes it helps
