I agree with Rayk,
I understand your frustration but let me promise you no one is pushing the release date for the Mac version on purpose. All I can say is the development team is working on it and it will ship as soon as they can get it done.
Please do not think that this has anything to do with operating systems it is just the way combustion is currently developed.
C3 is a great program and you should be able to achieve any effect or composite with it. I totally understand wanting to take advantage of the new features in C4 but if you look at the deal you got it's pretty darn good. C3, 20 hours of training on DVD for free and a free upgrade to C4 even if it is delayed.
