Arrow key (up & down) applies a colour fill to selected objects

Arrow key (up & down) applies a colour fill to selected objects

Hi,

When i nudge a selected object with the up and down arrow key, InDesign is automatically applying a colour fill on the second or third click. The colour pallet is also appearing and disappearing with each click.

This is so very frustrating – can anybody please advise me how to fix this. I am using CS5
