InDesign Tables Overset Text
by Shannon Snyder on Sep 1, 2009 at 12:28:40 pm

I made a table in InDesign and when I went to put text into, it overset, no matter how small the type was. I started over completely, making a new table off to the side, and not on the document. It looked perfect, I put it on the document and again, all the text overset.

I checked to see if there was a text wrap and brought it all the way to the front of all objects and text, and still, the text remained overset. I took it to the side, and the text was fine. Frustrated, I figured I could just make it it's on document and then place the table in the file. So I copied and pasted it into another document and the same thing happened. Off the document page its fine, on the document page its overset.

I don't know what to do, I've worked with tables before and never had this problem. I am thinking there is a table setting I need to turn off, but I cannot find anything.

Please help! I outlined the type to get it to the client, but I need to have it fixed before I send it to the printer.
