I have found a workaround for this plugin that enables it to work with After Effects CS4.

It is simple. When you open the plugin, you will boviously notice that if you try to load the presets, it will not open. But you still change the settings for the plugin which means it will actually work if you had a preset.

You can make a setting manually and then save it as an FFX preset in the drop down above the plugin. But how do you use the factory preset??

Easy. Just install After Effects 7 so the plugin will work properly. Then open up the plugin there and load up each factory preset one at a time, saving each one as a FFX preset into a folder. Then uninstall AE7. Move your newly created FFX presets into the CS4 presets folder.

Now when you open up MB Suite 2.1 Looks, just drop down the FFX preset tab and you will notice every factory present that you made is in the list. So you can quickly change looks just as before.

Its a process but works. That way if you paid for a product, you don't have to worry about throwing it in the garbage because of a company turning their backs on you. :D
