colorista in FCP problem ...

This is simple but on the Mac Book Pro using tiger running FCP 6.4... I get the colorista plug-in with both the track and the 3 color wheel but ... I can't turn off the track to get a full 3 color wheel ... how do you get just the 3 color wheel in the window?
