If someone is using Windows XP or Vista Home Basic/Business, Windows Media Player will not play DVDs without purchasing the third party playback components (which usually cost between $50-150 depending on what you go with). Now, Windows Vista Ultimate and Home Premium include this, so there won't be playback issues using those op systems out of the box. VLC player and Media Player Classic are other simple options. If video quality isn't as important to you in this instance than getting it out to mass users quickly, you can make your video a .wmv and send it out, or even an auto-run CD with a silent player install.
