It sounds like for the money, it makes sense to get the Mini and an SDI to HDMI converter from Black Magic it comes out to the cost of the Mini without the discount. That way I can broadcast from my HPX 370 or even a DSLR without losing any quality through the conversion. And, if I step up to a production switcher, I just need one that imports HD/SDI or HDMI and outputs to HDMI and can feed that into the Mini. Good to know that I won't lose quality doing this method and can save some cash. As I will realistically only be broadcasting via the internet, this will be great. Also pumped to turn my hdmi monitor into a broadcast monitor. Between that and my retina display I should be set. Am I correct in all of this mumbo jumbo?
