Great summary Andy. I was confused by all the options. I went back to v2.5 as I only need to capture in FCP7 at the moment and don't really need FCPX monitor support just yet.

It was my first time trying out FCPX monitoring and I didn't have any time to play with it so I will withhold further comments until a further revision of the Matrox drivers where I can have my cake and eat it too.
