Hi Norbert,

Does your laptop have an ExpressCard expansion slot? If so, you should be able to add a 1394 Firewire adapter card to the laptop and just capture your DV and HDV footage natively that way.

If not, then? Matrox MXO2 also requires an ExpressCard interface.

What are the specs of your laptop? Which NLE software?
