MXO2 LE Not Capturing Through HDMI

I am unable to capture video to ProRes from a DVD player connected via HDMI on my MXO2 LE in Final Cut Pro 7.0.3. I cannot get any kind of a video signal and only brief bursts of audio and occasional loud pops. I have also attempted to do the same via Vetura Capture with the same result.

The DVD is not copy protected (yes, I have rights to use it) and the cable being used works perfectly when connecting the same DVD player to a monitor.

I have made sure all inputs are set to HDMI and deactivated the scale input for capture box in the preferences. I updated the MXO2 software to the latest version and restarted my system. The problem still exists.
