Sorry you've had such a nightmare David.

Would be glad to try to help you coax the little beasty to do what it is you want it to do ... just gonna need a few specifics to get started re your system and project setup eg mac, os version, mxo2 software version, fcp (or other nle) version, source footage frame size, frame rate, codec, sequence settings, how you are intending to monitor, on what hardware etc.

Re the product/forum registration issues you've encountered on the Matrox site, not quite sure what the problem is there, I've registered multiple products and on multiple forums there been lucky enough to never have had an issue with that to date. Again, if there are any specific details you can offer I might be able to spot where the problem lies (or not ... could be as you suggest, a glitch in their setup ... if that's the case then bear in mind its the holiday season, so the place may be closed for business for now?)
