[Eric Stinemates] "Interesting that calibration is one of the most touted features of the MXO2 yet you guys are still using CRTs"
Because I bought mine before HD LCDs were huge. And I don't have the budget to upgrade just yet. My system hasn't rented out for a couple years. When it does, I'll be getting an FSI Broadcast HD LCD. I MIGHT get a plasma as a client monitor, or explore a good 52" Panasonic as a finishing monitor. But I really like the FSI stuff, as they have built in options that blow away plasmas.
All the stuff I do is for broadcast TV, where people are BIG sticklers. I might use an HDTV if I was just making a DVD, or if I didn't have the budget for a proper broadcast monitor. But I really am wanting/needing to have a proper monitor. The Client monitor I'll use to make it look close, and so they will not gripe when the image looks different than my HD LCD.
