I'm don't have AE installed on my machine here Chris, so I can't test it for you myself (although my CS5 trial is currently downloading) but my I have seen numerous posts that suggest that there IS a drop in frame rate during RAM previews in AE for Mac (for PC there is no such problem). Hopefully this will be addressed in a future update.

If you have and use a broadcast monitor with professional calibration controls, including blue gun only, then the MXO2 calibration tools will not be useful to you, BUT if you don't have a proper reference monitor with such calibration controls then you'll have no way to accurately adjust that monitor for critical color display ... at which point the MXO2's calibration tools become extremely useful. The MXO2 basically gives you those same controls that you would have on a broadcast monitor so that you can calibrate the output of your MXO2 specifically for your target monitor. Its good stuff, and yes, definitely a good solution for those needing to monitor and grade from a supported app with any lower end display.
