Seriously?

Ok, tell me this isn't true. I just got the mini, and it does a great job at up/down conversion.
But does it seriously not output jpegs to the monitor? So I have to have a client come look over my shoulder at a tiny little image of the jpeg for them to make a decision? That's ridiculous. I found the same to be true with the old AJA IO. What's the deal here? I thought I was upgrading from a DSR-11 as my main interface, but it appears I'll have to hook it back up to preview jpegs on the monitor. Is there a way to make this happen through the mxo2 mini?
I was also hoping that when editing a show of mixed frame rate material that the 720 24p and 720 30p could both be previewed from the viewer to the mxo2 output, but no, only the one that matches the current output. Seems like it should take whatever the heck is in the viewer and manhandle it to show it on the client monitor. Jeez. At least scrubbing different frame rate material shows up. But jpegs don't show up at all. Surely I'm missing something here.
