Re: Kudos to Matrox for updating MXO2 software for Snow Leopard

Actually I have been posting a lot of Canon 5D work lately and using a lot of what I call "non-standard" footage and FCP presets. I can definitely say the new MXO 2 drivers work better with FCP7, not to mention the fact that you had to refresh the pref window each time with the older drivers before Snow Leopard would even recognize the MXO card and controls and let you make adjustments. If you are worried about the new drivers messing with your current set-up, don't. Drivers optimized (and in Matrox's case, thoroughly tested) for the current SN OS you are working on will always perform better than the old versions. Feel free to jump in. The water is fine.
