Doug,

I agree. I have a Westinghouse 50' something or other and the HDMI inputs on it look horrible. VGA on the other hand is beautiful (but no help for the MXO2 boxes). Apparently the TVs are tweaking the signals to "improve" them.

Just think people are actually buying these things, hooking up a DVD or BlueRay and thinking they are getting a good picture! Yikes!

I think for now I am going to get a Dell u2410 (I need another computer monitor anyway) and I believe I can get it to closely match my Sony CRT Production Monitor. At least the monitor won't be doing anything to the signal, unlike a consumer TV.
