The new MacPro's ship stock with a display card sporting both DVI and Mini Display Port connectors so the MXO should live perfectly happily on the DVI port. Plenty of room to add additional/alternative display cards if the stock isn't your choice ... plus there is also the Mini Display Port adaptor:

Am not aware of any issues at this point.
