MXO and 2K

I'm currently looking at putting together a system for colour grading and I was thinking of using the MXO. However it's very likely that I'm going to get my hand on some footage from the RED camera to grade and I therefor have 2 questions.

1. I know that the MXO won't output 2K but will it be able to output an image at all if I edit in 2K in Color? (scaled down to 1080P...)

2. Also, can I simultaneously output on the DVI port and over component (so I could hook up a client monitor via component...)

I hope this question hasn't been asked before as I couldn't find it anywhere. I apologize if it has!
