I will check on the power supply. My system is actually a demo system I purchased from a dealer. The system has made its way around the country so it may have been misplaced. It's a XW8200 dual core dual zeon with a FX1400 card.

Your assumptions are all correct regarding the software except for I did not un-install the effects patterns.

I did a little hunting and came across a posting about someone else having the Adobe Export disappear on them. They had some sort of card (canopus?) installed but I think they resolved it by performing a clean install.

I think I'm going to do the ghost (I actually use Acronis) first thing tonight. I can use the time to look for the power supply and clean up the sorry excuse of an office/edit suite.

I'll post the results tomorrow.
