This is the method I use. My main raid is a rorke 14 drive dual scsi at raid level 0. I have a tray system in my computer tower and use a new/different ide drive for each project (most of my projects are under 500gig.) I then use Shadow for my backup/mirroring software. When I'm done, I just keep the hd on the shelf until it's needed again.
