Re: Weird After Effects/AXIO issue...PLS help!

I've also lost my prefs many times and everytime I shut down Premiere 2.0 I get a C++ error too. I was warned about the C++ issue on my specific machine since it was a demo. I said don't worry I'm going to do a format C and start clean...yeah...that was 4 projects ago.

Anyway, the alpha was missing on both previews and rendered output (that's where I first discovered it actually.) I know all settings are correct since I've rendered this comp out many times prior without any problems. Also, I can move one frame at a time where the current frame is good and the next frame is bad which I find very weird.

Now the good news (or not so good since I didn't find the cause) is after re-ghosting my machine back to the day it arrived (including a pre-release version of Axio 2.0) the problem has gone away. I didn't make one (zero, nada, zilch) change to the After Effects project and it rendered out correctly.

I'm also anxiously awaiting 2.5. I hope it fixes the Matrox DVE issue on still photos. I had to use Premiere's controls because using Matrox's DVE resulted in some horrendous...bloody awful...embarrassed to call myself a professional...looking video.

Best Regards,
Mike
