As said before in this thread, You don't need to convert for the UK as all DVD players I've seen handle NTSC fine.
If I convert to PAL to NTSC I use MSPro, unfortunately you have to start the DVDWS Project from scratch in my experience, however this sounds worse than it is.
USA DVD Players don't seem to recognise PAL.
