What files to archive in order to re-construct project?

Hi,
Looking for advice on what files to archive off so that I can open up a DVD-WS project "at a later date" and make modifications to menu, chapter points etc and produce new DVDs etc.
I edit video using Digital Origin's EditDV. Its "master file" is a .edv file that (I assume) is the "database" that stores all the clip, effect, transition and program information. I archive that file away, and if I need to rebuild a project for modification, I open that file and use the batch capture facility to recapture all the footage. An investment of 2 or 3MB of archive gets me that peace of mind.
I'm looking to do the same thing in DVD Workshop (and eventually in MSP, but that 's another forum).
I'd like to develop a reasonably fool-proof procedure for archiving a project (excluding source footage) in the smallest amount of disk space possible.
A DVD-WS project seems to consist of three folders:
- Capture
- DWS_TS
- Menu
Here's what I understand...
Capture
contains all the captured footage.
If I retain the master tapes (I keep them on Mini_DV), I can reload the footage, although capture start and end points might not be totally identical when I re-capture - this would potentially screw up the chapter points????
DWS_TS - on a typical project, this folder's size is 1GB - 4GB
Contains CvtMenu and CvtTitle folders, plus XmakeDisc.dat
CvtMenu contains .BMPs for menus - so I need to keep those. Only a few MB though.
CvtTitle seems to contain a .mpg and/or a .wav for each title in the project, but this doesn't look consistent. However, inconsistency may be accounted for because I may have generated different projects differently as I began learning waht I was doing.
These files make up the bulk of the size of the DWS_TS folder.
XMakeDisc.dat is -- ??? -- maybe a database that DVD-WS uses to track everything?
It seems to be about 2.2MB usually.
Menu contains a number of 5MB files with REALLY long names, with .UPX suffixes. The number of files may or may not relate to the number of menus in the project.
So to reiterate my question - which of these files should I archive in order to be able to re-construct a project?
(I guess another way of looking at the problem is to ask which DVD-WS files I'd need to copy to another computer in order to open the project, re-capture the footage and make modifications to menus, behaviours, etc.?)
All assistance welcome!
