Re: Migrating to new NLE from Edit

Hey Mike,

I faced the same dilemma moving from EDIT to another system. I liked the Matrox board on EDIT so I purchased an AXIO LE. That was exactly four months ago and I’ve had nothing but trouble so now purchased a Leitch VelocityHD system and returned the AXIO. If you liked edit you’ll love Velocity so I’d give it a serious look. I can’t speak as a seasoned user but I hired an editor who has used the Velocity system for over 8 years (in network television environment) and watching him work reminded me of using EDIT. The interface is very straight-forward, solid and fast and the file management and structure very tight.

I hope this helps,
Cheers,
Darold
