No source file compatibility problems that I have seen or heard about.
I have read of some users having trouble and it was suggested that it was due to opening a v2 project in CS3. The recommendation always given is to import old projects into a new CS3 project.
Of course I have not bothered to do that. Instead, I just open the old projects and go to work. Hasn't been a problem - yet.
One of the projects was very large and was therefore a problem child. Much less troublesome with CS3. Not perfectly behaved. But noticeably better.
Enjoy.
