Pat,
As you probably know, I'm not a PPro partisan. However, since it appears that both you, and more importantly your clients, are currently happy with your PPro setup (and isn't that the critical key?), can there be a plan C or a modification of Plan B?

Meaning that you leave your current configuration as is for now, and simply add an FCP station for the 5% of outside work. You'll then be able to see how or even if FCP will work out for you.

As with every migration, there'll be things you'll like and things you won't. Also, NAB is not that far away (isn't that always the case).

Good luck,
-Les
