I've gone through the manual; I've tried a few variations of uncompressed QuickTime. I've tried file sequences. Some vendors have said it doesn't work. I'm not on-site doing the import myself, so I have to live with their answer.
Gary's answer regarding GXF sheds light on the issue. I'll look into Telestream.
thanks!
Jeff
