For questions about what formats networks or festivals accept, ask them. Delivery specs vary widely and change from time to time, so go to the source. If you need to deliver in 50i you can convert your 60i program in various ways using software or hardware. As for DSLRs, do some research on specific specs. Most of them produce files that require some kind of conversion before they can be edited in a NLE. Of course, that may change in the future, too.
