warnings ? Yes. Document everything first. If your school will allow you to, do one piece at a time. Get your cameras up and working. Then get your switcher up and working. If you are using FCP, get it up and working. Make sure that you can record from your camera or switcher into your FCP system. THEN get the Maxx digital Final Share setup. Trying to setup everything at once is a guaranteed disaster. Everyone has problems with setup, and the only way to keep track of problems is to do one thing at a time, and get it right.

There will be a lot of cabling involved, and there will be a lot of setup involved. None of this just plugs in and works. Be patient, or you will have a huge mess on your hands.
